The day we've been long-waiting for finally arrived! Allyson's sister, Ashley (and her husband Dan) had her first baby boy on August 20, 2007! Calvin Daniel Henry was 7 lb and 19 1/2 inches. He gave them quite a scare - squeezing his own umbilical cord and cutting off his oxygen supply! Luckily a wise doctor and an emergency c-section allowed for a healthy mom and baby. We are
dying to meet baby Cal. He's so very cute in the pictures!
After having our first three children ... with still no cousins for them on either side of the family .... we were feeling a bit left out. After all, we had been doing our part, right? Then the great day arrived when Allyson's step-sister, Holly, got married and has since had two beautiful boys! Our children are so excited to have THREE little boy cousins, now ... Ian, Campbell, and Calvin!
