It is always great to spend time at Grandma A's and Grandpa Don's house in Phoenix! Lots to do, yummy food, and plenty of hugs (grandma-style!). We definitely enjoyed our week there, including the awesome spring weather (had to dig out our summery clothes from our bins tucked away in snowy Wisconsin!).
Here's a picture of my mom and her siblings (not pictured is the oldest, Scot, since he has passed away). L to R, Aunt Susie, Uncle Bob, Mary Lou (mom), and Aunt Jayne. Three live in AZ and one in ID. They are sweet people, and it's fun to see them continue their sibling relationship as older adults!
New highlight at the Alldredge residence: Rock Band! Chandler, Carlie, and Caleb loved it and improved greatly over the course of the week. Chandler and Carlie worked on guitar and drums, and Caleb settled for vocals (since he, quote, "loves to shout"). Favorite song: Eye of the Tiger. Even Rachel tried to join in every now and then (and mom and dad too!).
Before church, Marc spiked Caleb's hair a bit (!) more than usual ... showed me and took a picture ... then I thought they'd calm it down, but nope! He went the whole day like that. Crazy boy!
