My dad lives in Sandy, Utah, but during tax season he spends a few months in Phoenix to work (as a CPA) like a crazy person day and night before heading back up to relax in UT and work at a little slower pace. We haven't seen him for a year and a half, so we took advantage of us both being in Phoenix and arranged a couple hours to have dinner together. I'm so glad he was able to break away from the grueling tax work - the kids had a blast seeing him and playing with him again.
Chandler wasn't there that night - he was spending a couple days with Grandpa and Grandma Rogers in Kearny, AZ. But at the end of the week, Grandpa came to the wedding reception for Lance and Louise and Chandler got to hang out with him for quite a while.
Rachel was especially fascinated with Grandpa's ability to talk like Donald Duck!
