Cubscout Day Camp

One great thing about June is Cubscout Day Camp. Every morning for 4 days, Chandler is thoroughly entertained with four hours of outdoor fun, learning, and accomplishments! This year's theme, reflected on his t-shirt and hat, was race cars/racing. Some of his favorite activities were: archery, b.b. gun shooting, and making a wooden car (it has a rubber band that allows it to "go"). Today was the last day, so the families were invited to come for lunch. A fire truck came and used their hose to spray the kids - a nice cooling off on a hot day! Luckily our temps have been in the upper 90's instead of breaking 100. Could be worse! Also, day camp was held at Mooney Grove Park with huge shade trees.
