Marc and the children gave me my birthday gifts a little early. We were about to leave town and there was barely room for the kids in the car, let alone some presents! Here are the four kids and two of my most "festively-wrapped" presents.
Then on July 1st, we celebrated (a day early) Marc's father's 70th birthday. We met up in Park City, Utah, and were fortunate enough to stay in the Knight's vacation home there. It was a great way to celebrate #70 for him! He is still full of life, playful, and even a tad bit naughty when it comes to teasing the children!
Later that evening, we hosted dinner at the Knight's Park City house - we invited my dad, my brother Jonathan and his wife Danica, and my sister Amy and her fiancee Ken. It was really great to see everyone. Marc's mom, Frances, and I managed to cook a pretty yummy dinner of Chicken Broccoli Casserole after finally figuring out the interesting stove and oven that's "always on".
