Brief Visits in Provo

On Thursday, July 5, 2007, we drove from Park City to Provo, UT to spend a few hours seeing B.Y.U. We first ate lunch at J-Dogs, a little hot dog shack on a corner near campus that has quite a reputation. They were pretty yummy, for hot dogs! Then we tried to go see the new Alumni building that was just built at BYU, but it's not quite open for visitors yet. As we were walking through the parking lot, we ran into my old friend from nursing school - Andee Blackham! She lives in Missouri, and we haven't seen each other for 8 years I think. She was there visiting BYU with her two boys (and she's expecting another baby, too).

Then we were ready for dessert, so we headed over to the BYU Creamery for some delicious ice cream! Perfect on such a hot day! We arranged to meet my cousin, Heather Moore, there with her three children. She lives in Lehi, UT, so luckily it worked out to meet there. I wish we had had more time to visit and let the kids play together, but maybe we can do that next time we're in town!
