Sledding Hill

We finally found a great place to go sledding in Green Bay! After hearing vaguely about it for awhile, Marc finally got specifics from a coworker. We were excited to finally have a Saturday with Daddy in town, sunshine, and temps in the 20's (much welcomed, after single digits and teens!!!). That was a great combination, so we headed out to find Triangle Hill. Unfortunately, we didn't realize that going at 10 am was so "early" ... there's a cool tow-rope to help you up the hill, but we discovered later that it didn't officially open until noon. Probably trespassing, we decided to have fun anyways - parking illegally in an apartment complex across the street. We had the place to ourselves, but we only stayed for a short time to minimize our guilty consciences! (and to decrease the amount of trips up the large hill Marc and the kids made on foot) It was a lot of fun, and it felt great to be outdoors together. Marc and the 3 older kids actually tried again a week or two later and had a lot of fun using the tow-rope and renting more innertubes to sled on.

Here's Carlie nearing the bottom of the hill:

Rachel was content to watch and then take "mini" sled rides at the bottom of the hill.

Carlie all tuckered out at the bottom.
