This has been a fun month with our littlest sweetie. She's mostly happy, smiley, and patient ... unless she gets tired (or heaven forbid: overtired), then you must plug your ears or risk losing your hearing! She has a very, very high-pitched scream and squeal (my mom claims she got this from me) .... and tends to let out frequent, short squeals (not crying) just to warn you she's tired! (This is especially pleasant in the middle of church ... and continues for quite a while because her bed is not readily available!) But she has become a very long sleeper ... she was doing pretty good last month, but I think she's improved in this category this month because she found her thumb and settled on it (after experimenting with fingers previously). At night she goes to bed somewhere around 8 or 9 pm, and then sleeps 10 to 12 hours (twice she's even done 13 hours!) without asking for any attention from Mommy! She's even taking longer naps - often one of her naps each day will be 3+ hours long.

Patiently enduring the ever-increasing loves from Rachel. (Rachel used to be very gentle, but has recently gotten more aggressive. She takes great joy in lying on top of poor Kiersie! The baby rarely protests, amazingly.)
