To start off, the sneaky Christmas Elves left their traditional gift of new P.J.'s for the kids on their beds on Christmas Eve evening. They all got the fleece, footed, zipper jammies that they all love. The two boys matched, the two little girls matched, and Carlie's were just cool because they had monkeys on them (her favorite animal).
Looks like Santa arrived in the middle of the night ... a golf set for Chandler, American Girl doll (Emily) for Carlie along with a doll bunk-bed, big Lego castle for Caleb, double-stroller for Rachel's dolls, and baby toys for Kierstyn.
Here are my 3 girls on Christmas morning - very thrilled with Santa's choices for them.

Carlie's wish came true ... a "princess coat" from Grandma A. (sun is too bright, sorry!)

Carlie had an "American Girl" Christmas. She has recently been very interested in them (and Mommy admits she loves them too ... or at least would've loved to collect them and read about them when she was a girl!!!). She got "Emily" from Santa and "Ruthie" from Grandma Rogers. Here she is with Ruthie in their matching pajamas.

Carlie received a "spa treatment" kit from Chandler, so she mixed up a facial mask (including oats and mashed banana) and tried it out. I think she concluded it was a bit icky!
Rachel was in heaven with her new stroller and puppy. And not in the picture are her many new Dora/Diego books she got ... which kept her very entertained throughout all the present-opening and beyond!
