Green Bay had the snowiest December ever with 48.9 inches (which buried the previous record of 36.4 inches, set in Dec. 1887). We are so glad we are proud owners of a macho snow-thrower (it reminds me of something Tim the Tool-Man Taylor on Home Improvement would be proud of ... and hence it scares me to operate it ... hopefully it'll only snow while Marc is in town). More annoying than the massive snowfall, were the extra-cold temps that we got in December.
After one particular snowfall, Rachel and Carlie had a fun afternoon playing in it. Every time Carlie would try to call it quits and bring Rachel inside, Rachel would cry and beg for more "no" (snow).

Wisconsin wanted to make sure you got a proper welcome! Even if it is snowy and cold, these are the things your kids are going to remember. Playing in the snow is sooooo much fun and they can do it in the backyard. I misss it...a little. :)
