Princess Coats (plus handsome boys)

Amidst our cold, snowy December, we had one Sunday that was suddenly very warm (low 40's) and rainy. On our way to church, a few of the kids took the opportunity to smile for the camera outside for once! Aren't they cute??!! (Carlie had helped Rachel "accessorize" while getting ready - and Rachel is dutifully learning the art of all things girly! She was so proud of the necklace and bracelet she wore to church, even though it didn't really match the color of her dress.)

A favorite "girl thing" in our home this winter are princess coats that they wear over their Sunday dresses. We were so thrilled to receive Rachel's from my Aunt Jayne (my mom's sister) - a beautiful coat passed on to us from her granddaughters. Carlie's was a precious Christmas gift from her beloved Grandma A. (my mom). Kierstyn even has one ... and notice her little pink boots that are warm and fuzzy inside.
