Ashley's Visit - Beginning

My sister and nephew came to Wisconsin (their first time) to visit us for over a week!! Yay!! It was a highly anticipated visit by one and all in our household. Aunt Ashley is very adored by everyone. Her son, Calvin, is exactly one year younger than Rachel, and about 7 months older than Kierstyn.


Unfortunately, I came down with some nasty illness shortly after they arrived. Some days I could barely function - and sweet Ashley took over the care of the 6 children and cooking of meals like a trooper. Other days I tried to push through the milder symptoms. The picture below is during the "last day of school picnic" at the elementary school. I was planning on going, but had to send Ashley, Calvin, and Rachel without me due to a severe headache, nausea, and 102 degree fever that morning.






The children loved it whenever Aunt Ashley would spend time with them outside - taking a little walk in the neighborhood, or just watching them play ball. She snapped some great photos of them:
