Boys' Camping Trip

Daddy and his two boys enjoyed a "Fathers and Sons Outing" this weekend (May 18-19). This year they went up to the mountains (last year was near the beach in Pismo) to an area the church owns. They slept in cabins, had great fun romping around, and did some service to clean up the camp and prepare it for the Young Women to use in a few weeks.

Caleb was Daddy's pal much of the time, but Chandler was rarely around - always off playing with friends. Therefore, Caleb got to be the star of nearly every picture Daddy managed to take! In fact, Chandler was so busy that he didn't even find time to change his clothes during the 24 hours he was gone (not even at bedtime)! Later, Mommy was awestruck at the amount of dirt and grime his clothes and skin were able to accumulate in such a short period of time.

The last picture is of Chandler, Alex (our bishop's son and Chandler's good friend), and Caleb .... doing what? I was told by Marc, "playing with ropes ... you know, what boys do."
