Girl Moments

We've had a fun 2+ weeks with just little girls around the house (while the big kids were in AZ). It was definitely quieter, and my laundry duties greatly improved (not to mention how much cleaner the house stayed). Marc spoiled me with more take-out than dinners I cooked (hey - it was my vacation, too!). And we also busted our tails doing landscaping in the back yard (it wasn't all fun and games!).

Kierstyn cut two bottom teeth at 4 3/4 months old (way too soon for my taste) and has been practicing rolling over both directions. We found one of the most exciting chew-toys is a medicine-dropper from the pharmacy that has a nice big squishy top (just got to be careful not to get the other end in her mouth and gag herself). Good thing we've collected several over the years - Rachel had to have one, too!

"Look, Mom, no hands!"

If I ever walk into Rachel's room to get her out of bed with the baby in my arms, she INSISTS that the baby join her in her crib. (Kierstyn acts a bit nervous about this - you know, getting thrown into the lion's den - but she's a good sport.) So here are my two little girls in Rachel's bed:
