Kids' Vacation

Chandler, Carlie, and Caleb arrived home safely late last night. They claimed they had a good flight from Phoenix to Chicago, and Marc was there to pick them up and drive back to Green Bay. Although they were sad to leave their grandparents, they were ready to come home and see their little sisters (and Caleb missed his bedroom) and start school soon. Probably one of their very, very favorite days of the whole trip ... the Saturday in San Diego they spent on the beach. Aunt Ashley and Uncle Dan took them "boogie boarding" in the ocean. They weren't used to the saltwater (ouchy eyes), but they had a blast in the waves. They (especially Chandler) couldn't stop talking about how fun it was afterwards. Thank you, Ash and Dan!!

Their time in AZ was spent SWIMMING!!! On this trip, Caleb joined his big siblings in the ranks of "FISH". Before, he was always a bit timid with swimming ... but something clicked and he became a true fish! Every time my mom called me, she couldn't stop saying, "You wouldn't believe this kid!!!" It's a good thing both grandmas have swimming pools! These swimming pictures are actually from a pool in Aunt Holly and Uncle Jon Russell's neighborhood.
