Winter Piano Recital

Chandler resumed piano lessons with a new teacher in Green Bay about a week after we moved in. He's got too much talent to let it go idle! Sister June Blinn is his energetic and passionate teacher ... his one-hour lessons often go 15 minutes over time because she says she's having "too much fun to notice the clock".

We had a winter recital in her home where Chandler played Sonatina in C Major by Clementi and a beautiful arrangement of Away in a Manger/Brahms Lullaby.

Rachel trying to be patient and quiet on Daddy's lap during the recital.

By the time the recital is over, Rachel has NO MORE patience or smiles to hold still for the camera.

On the way home, Rachel kept yanking Carlie closer to her so she could run her fingers through Carlie's hair. She was tired, and this was the next best thing to Mommy's hair or her teddy bear's silky bow.
