Annual 10K Bellin Run

Chandler competed this morning in the 32nd Annual 10k sponsered by Bellin Health. Schneider is also a major sponsor and Marc saw many of his fellow employees participate. Chandler has been training hard over the past few months, but had back problems recently so hasn't run in over a week. The crowds were huge for Green Bay standards. Over 13,000 participated in the event running and walking. 8,710 actually ran. Chandler was in the fourth group of runners which looked like a herd of cattle as they tried to get started. Chandler did Awesome! He finished in 51 minutes and 39 seconds. He paced himself very well as his mid-point time was just over 25 minutes. Overall he was 1,712 out of the 8,710 which includes men, women and youth. He was 43 out of his fourth group which was made up of 521 average runners. The winner finished in just under 29 minutes. Most of Marc's co-workers (men in their late 30's) finished around 45 minutes so Chandler wasn't far behind. The average time was one hour and 5 minutes for this 6.2 mile run. We're very proud of our little athlete!
