Father's Day 2008

What would we do without daddies??? I recently had a conversation with Chandler where he was beginning to complain that since he's a boy, he won't get to experience some the special things that only mommies do. I instantly replied that instead, he'll get to be a daddy, and daddies are sooooo important -- and soooo much more fun than mommies. He thought for a quick second, then agreed with me, saying, "You're right. Daddy is a lot more fun - he's the one that plays basketball with me and takes me to movies!"

I am so grateful for Marc, who is such a good father to our 5 children and a wonderful husband to me! He is so talented to be able to balance WELL his responsibilities at work, church and home, always putting his family first on his list of priorities. Thank you, honey!!

I am also grateful for our fathers - how they've loved us so much and for everything they've taught us through the years. They are so much fun for these grandkids! We snapped a picture of all 5 kids in their "Wisconsin Wildies" shirts in honor of Grandpa Rogers, especially (since he coined the term and commissioned the making of the shirts!).
