Carlie turned 8 on Sunday, January 27, 2008. With church not starting until after lunch, we had plenty of time to open presents and relax in the morning. A special birthday treat that evening was the arrival of Grandma and Grandpa Rogers from Arizona. On the next night, she requested dinner at Texas Roadhouse (like Chandler did) ... and was really cute sitting on the saddle they brought out for the celebration ... but I was in a hurry and forgot the camera!
Carlie with her siblings and her favorite gift ... a karoke machine for our little singer! (The green robe she's wearing was also a favorite gift, and you'll notice her wearing it over p.j.s or clothes in many pictures!)

The birthday cake - not very exciting. She requested the little dog to sit on top, but that's as far as we got with decorations.
