Grandma and Grandpa Alldredge Visit

We were thrilled with a visit from Grandma A. and Grandpa Don on January 10-13. We were so glad they braved the cold to come see us! Actually, the temperatures were mild (upper 20's, low 30's), but they did get to experience some great snowfall with us. (Even the Packers game on Saturday, Jan. 12, where the team played in heavy snow was during their visit... which they thought was fun to see on our TV. We actually turned them into Packer fans while they were here ... it's contagious when you see the team spirit while being out in the community.) After three days of fun and then taking them back to the airport, I realized how little I took out my camera during their visit. Oops! Therefore, we hardly have any pictures of them! But there are tons of pictures of the kids (between my camera and my mom's) ... I'm sorry for posting so many.

Here's a rare picture of me (since my mom was actually there to be the photographer).

Allyson with all four kids on Carlie's bed.

An even more rare picture of Marc and Allyson together ... in the snow on our front porch.

Chandler and his bed.

Chandler had a basketball clinic that Saturday - he's the kid in the middle ... playing his favorite sport.

Caleb lookin' sharp.

Carlie and Rachel in matching pink ... keeping Grandma company in the bathroom while she got prettied up.

Rachel stopping to pose for Grandma's camera.

Matching sisters again.

Grandma A. with all four kids ... making snowmen in the front yard! It's crazy how that wet "snowman-snow" sticks so well that it pulls up all the snow down to the grass.

Who says you can't enjoy a swingset in the winter???

The girls "sledding" on the tiny slopes in our yard. Rachel was a bit nervous about it.

All bundled up and cute.

Caleb making snow angels (I think!?).

Carlie with her snowman.

Chandler and his snowman.
