I finally got around to it ... turning Rachel's bedroom from being a solid BRIGHT daffodil yellow (the home-builder's choice) to my pick of pastel pink and green. Marc claimed he liked the yellow because it was "bright and cheery, like my sweetie little girl". I disagreed. It was too much! He was fine with me painting over it as long as he didn't have to do it! I agreed.
I painted the bottom half first - light green - then we realized we had a Green Bay Packers room temporarily! So here's the commemorative picture.
The finished project ... still lacking pictures/decorations on the walls. Those will come eventually. By the way, Marc said he's impressed with the final product and he's glad I changed it! Me, too!!!
